Kyorugi / Sparring
TAEKWONDO DESANT e.V.
is a free fight in which the techniques learnt (kicks, punches, defence, stepping, dodging and counter techniques) are applied according to strict rules. Thanks to strict regulations and well thought-out and extensive protective equipment (waistcoat, groin guard, arm and leg protectors, head protection and mouth guard), injuries are extremely rare even in this extremely dynamic version of Taekwondo. The sporting competition takes place over three rounds, which require the athlete to demonstrate outstanding skill, iron stamina, lightning-fast reactions, self-discipline and courage.
