The last summer tournament for Taekwondo Desant e.V. took place last weekend in Essen. The athletes were able to prove themselves in the categories of poomsae (form running) and Twio-Ap-Chagi (high jump). This tournament was more about showing clean and proper techniques. A total of 200 athletes from all over Germany came together to put their skills to the test. The groups consisted of an average of eight people. Steven Vasilev took second place in the Poomsae category in the masters group, as did Vasilij Miller in his group. Anastasia Kasanzev took third place in the forms category and Mustafa Akkus even managed to win first place in both categories. Student Sven Schwarzer took first place in poomsae at his third tournament. Valerij Weber also took part in both categories and came second in the poomsae and third in the twio-ap-chagi.  There was no team ranking this time, as only the skills of the individual were assessed, but head coach Alexander Kasanzev is proud of his students' performances, so they can all go into the summer holidays happy.
