Nine candidates had to prove their skills last Friday. For some of them, it was their first taekwondo exam, so the excitement was great. Everything they had learnt up to that point was required, such as basic school, special fighting techniques, poomsea (form running) and also fighting. At the end of the practical exam, they had to answer a few questions in theory. After three exhausting hours, everyone was able to go home with a successfully passed exam. The youngest of the candidates was Holly Wiegand, aged 5, who showed that you can achieve a lot even at a young age. Pierre Pascal Wiegand and Daniel Wehrmann, who showed a very strong performance in the examination, were particularly impressive. Overall, the masters of Taekwondo Desant e.V. are satisfied with the progress of their students and are now working towards further such successes.
