TKDD EUROPE RULES- the basics

1st Dan TKDD = TKDD Instructor License C = TKDD Examiner License C

The TKDD Instructor License C is a personal license. It entitles you to list the TKDD Instructor C qualification in your CV (e.g. on the club’s website) and to offer TKDD as part of general Taekwondo training in the club or Taekwondo school. It does not entitle you to offer training under the name Taekwondo Defense (for example in the club's timetable) or to use the TKDD logo. (See TKDD Locations and TKDD Events below for more on the use of name and logo) The TKDD Instructor License C is valid for four (4) years after initial issue and can be renewed for two (2) additional years at a time. In order to renew the license, at least one (1) two-day license renewal course must be attended during the validity period. The TKDD examiner's license C entitles the holder to conduct cup tests up to and including the green belt (6th cup). It is valid for four (4) years after the year of issue. and can be extended for two (2) additional years at a time. In order to renew the license, at least one (1) two-day license renewal course must be attended during the validity period. All years are calendar years.

TKDD Locations

TKDD instructor license holders can upgrade their club or school to become an official TKDD location. Official locations may use the Taekwondo Defense name and the TKDD logo. TKDD locations must have a trainer with a TKDD instructor license or be associated with an instructor. An instructor can therefore supervise more than one location. A location license is valid for one physical location. The locations are listed on the website www.tkdd.eu with their name, logo and contact details. The license fee for one location is 100 euros per year , the site license is valid from January to December of each year. For the year 2022, the license fee for one location is 75 euros.

TKDD coup tests

TKDD Kup exams are conducted according to the exam regulations created by TKDD / Grandmaster Kim Eunseob. The interval between two Kup exams should not be less than two (2) months / 30 training units. The exams are only valid if the name, date of birth and e-mail address of the participants are reported to Taekwondo Defense Europe. The examiners undertake to obtain a data protection declaration from all examination participants for the transfer of examination-relevant data. TKDD-Europe will make the Privacy Policy available for download. All successful candidates will receive a TKDD-Cup from the examiner, obtained from TKDD-Europe. The exam is recorded in the TKDD passport. Those taking the exam must be a member of a TKDD location and have a TKDD passport. Passports and certificates TKDD passports and Kup certificates must be purchased from TKDD Europe.

Prices

Passport: 10 euros Certificate: 4 euros Extension of TKDD instructor license: 30 euros Extension of TKDD examiner license: 30 euros (including stamp) Extension of TKDD instructor and examiner license: 50 euros However, they should not fall below a fee of 30 euros per Kup degree.

TKDD-Seminare

TKDD instructor license holders can conduct TKDD seminars. In order to hold a TKDD event, the key data (date, location, content of the event, speaker and/or person responsible) must be reported to TKDD-Europe and approved there. Events are advertised on the website www.tkdd.eu. For quality assurance, TKDD Germany can, in consultation with the organizer, send an observer to the seminar. The license fee for one event is 100 euros.
